About Sarah

Hi there! I'm a certified K-6 teacher with 13 years of dedicated experience in the classroom. My passion lies in helping students unlock their full potential and build confidence in their learning journey.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina Charlotte in 2012 and went on to receive my Master's degree in Elementary Mathematics Education from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2019.

To further enhance my expertise in literacy instruction, I'm proud to share that I completed LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) training in 2025. This specialized training has equipped me with in-depth knowledge of the science of reading, allowing me to provide even more effective and evidence-based support for students developing their reading and spelling skills.

Over my career, I've had the privilege of teaching and tutoring students across various subjects and elementary grade levels. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel empowered to grow, achieve their personal best, and discover the sheer joy of learning. I truly believe in providing a personalized experience for each student, tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs and learning style.  I can't wait to partner with you and your child on their educational journey!
